If you prefer heating and eating meals over a meal kit, the Trifecta is the way to go. To suit all net-carb preferences, there are three low-carb options: keto, paleo, and a la carte option that lets you mix and match great proteins (like chicken, salmon, and bison) with non-starchy veggies like broccoli and asparagus, or mushrooms to fit your macros. All meals come ready to eat with instructions for the stovetop, microwave, air fryer, and oven reheat.
Better yet, there is a lot of variety in the rhythm of the meals. Trifecta offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus the option to add an extra meal to help you hit the big goals. You can choose between two to four meals a day and five or seven days a week. The entire kitchen is gluten and peanut free, and you can also choose meals that are dairy and/or soy free.
Some meals we tried:
Pollo guisado white chicken with tomato, pumpkin seeds and citrus
– Tropical garlic prawns with pepper, lemon and coconut
Sustainability and quality:
Trifecta does everything it can to reduce its carbon footprint by eliminating unnecessary steps in the food supply chain and using sustainable packaging whenever possible. All packaging is 100% recyclable, but the company’s goal is to use biodegradable packaging by 2023.
cost: From $12 per serving
What our editor says:
“If you have weight loss goals, specific dietary preferences, or simply want to take the guesswork out of eating healthy, Trifecta is a great meal delivery option. I enjoyed it even though I love to cook, but these fully prepared meals will be equal. Best for someone who wants to spend as little time as possible in the kitchen.” – Carly Ferrante, Trade Editor
