But this latest release takes that winning formula and extends the maturity of the whiskey’s ingredients to new heights—some of them aged up to 25 years.
The resulting juice is hugely fruity—140+ proof—and aggressive in its flavors of fresh blueberry, fig jam, and mint. On the tongue and on the finish, it’s all about the tropical undertones. Pineapple and mango appear as the stars, gliding through the creamy, honey-spiked mouth. It’s an absolute joy to drink clean – although a drop or two of water will help tame the beast, while doing nothing to diminish that velvety aforementioned.
