Sweet pepper meatballs
- 1 lb. Ground beef, lean
- 1 egg
- 2 sachets Quest Sweet Chili Tortilla Chipscrushed
- A cup of almond flour
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Half a teaspoon pepper
- Half a teaspoon of salt
sauce:
- cup hot sauce (tapatio)
- 12 cups sugar-free syrup (delicious honey)
- 1 teaspoon of chili flakes
- Half a teaspoon of salt
- Sesame seeds
method
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and blend. Separate the mixture into 20 equal sized meatballs and place them on the baking tray.
- Bake the meatballs for 10-12 minutes then grill for 2-4 minutes to brown the tops.
- While the meatballs are cooking, place all of the sauce ingredients (except the sesame seeds) in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir and simmer until the meatballs are tender.
- Add the meatballs to the sauce and stir to coat everything well.
- Serve immediately.
