- 1 cup almond flour
- 2 tablespoons coconut flour
- 1 scoop Quest Vanilla Milkshake Protein Powder
- 1 tablespoon ground flax flour
- 1 teaspoon xanthan gum
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup room temperature almond milk
- 1⁄4 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons calorie-free sweetener
- 3 eggs, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
method
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and prime a donut pan (or a cast-iron Danish skillet) with nonstick spray (be generous).
- In a mixing bowl, mix the flour, protein, flaxseed, gum, baking powder, and salt together.
- In another bowl, whisk together the almond milk, butter, sweetener, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir until the spots are gone. Let the mixture sit for ten minutes (it will slightly thicken the linen).
- Fill the holes in the donut holes with a tablespoon full of the mixture and bake for 12-15 minutes and golden brown. Let the donut holes completely.
