New video teases Wolverine’s return in Deadpool 3

It’s been busy for 24 hours dead list fans. If you miss the frenzy of activity and ads on social media, we’ll catch up. Or not, Deadpool 3 Official release date – September. 6, 2024 – and Actor Ryan Reynolds He’s been dropping some interesting (and possibly confusing) hints about what’s to come in the new movie. Yesterday, he released a short video telling fans that he and the rest of the production team were “working hard” on the next installment of the franchise, and that he was thinking deeply about how to stabilize Deadpool’s entry in the MCU.

“I had to really look in my soul for this,” Reynolds says in the video.

Then comes the kicker: “I don’t have anything.”

As a supposed final step to save the movie, Reynolds asks his longtime friend/enemy, Hugh Jackman, if he wants to play Wolverine in Deadpool 3.

“Yeah, definitely Ryan,” Jackman said while touring in the background.

But wait. Old fans will remember that Wolverine died in the 2017 movie Logan. So how can the character suddenly come back to life to be in the new Deadpool movie? In the ever-expanding MCU, the cross-character arcs are starting to get pretty confusing.

Don’t worry – Reynolds and Jackman released another video today that demonstrates the confusion. Somewhat.

Sitting together, the duo begins by saying that they want to answer a few questions about Wolverine’s appearance in Deadpool 3.

“Like, for example, how does Wolverine live?” Jackman says.

Reynolds chimes in to explain that the events depicted in Logan In the year 2029. This movie is ‘something totally separate’ and they ‘don’t touch that’. Then, while he’s about to explain “What Happens in Our Movie,” the iconic voice and premise of “Wake Me Up Before You Go Go” by director Wham! fades away.
