Every Sunday, my friends and I gather in the backyard of their quaint (read: tiny) New York apartment for a “family dinner.” Each week is a time for workshop recipes and experiencing the latest trends that the internet has to offer. This week’s feature: Butter bar, straight from TikTok.
What is a butter slab, you may ask? Well, while you’ve certainly heard of the Charcuterie board, buttercream board is slowly creeping up the ranks — and that’s exactly what it sounds like. To make one, simply spread the softened butter across the board (we’re partial to that feeds on grass here in mbg) and add the layer of your choice. Next, give everyone a slice of bread to dip into the buttery taste.
For this week’s dinner party, we chose honey and pesto to complement our delicious creamy buttercream. And the feast that followed got me thinking: Is there any way to make this rotten dish even small size more healthy?
