A little refreshing life and good eating out of season.
The fastest Christmas season ever!
I know it’s not over yet, but going on a tropical vacation in the middle of the holidays was such a blast! I blinked and it’s Christmas!
The boys are out of school for the next few weeks, so I’m going into hibernation so I don’t have to work overtime to get new posts. So KERF may be dormant for a few weeks.
However, if there is time and I have some great pics to share from Christmas, I hope to share them with a blog post!
I also have my Word of the Year post ready to go – I can’t wait to share that with you all!
I’m also working behind the scenes on a new course focused on health, body love, and nutrition. If you have a minute to Fill out this surveyI will be very grateful for that!
new socks
Thomas really wanted us to have boys’ names on their socks, and the red bows and wrinkles on our linen clothes were driving me a little nuts, so those two things combined meant we were showing off some New beautiful neutral socks During the Black Friday holiday!
I’m obsessed with how organized their quilting is, and I love their names, too!
We have some Flameless birch candles Which I put on my sock owners head. And above this is real Candle Kent & Co Which I also got for my Beautycounter team leaders – they are so adorable!
light up the night
Outside our Thomas lit up!
I saw Birchy kissing Santa Claus
He loves the neighbor’s decor too!
Santa’s workshop
I take This Santa workshop From KiwiCo as a craft to do together. It was a big hit!
Our snowman is pretty rad!
winter activities
floor games
Other activities included playing with every toy in our house (do we really need to buy more????? I’d skip Christmas if I could!)
Bike riding
Many bike rides around the block to see other neighbours’ decorations
And a surprise visit from Birch’s BFF!!!
These boys play hard!
holiday eats
I picked up some green juice from The Juice Laundry so I could cuddle up with my green shot and breakfast from Anguilla!
Egg scramble lunch
Amy eats
High protein vegan ramen noodles Amy. Mazen is really fond of ramen these days. I loved these and added some veggies to my plate too.
Chit pan chicken
We made it in Brittany Chinese chicken thighs – Tasty!
Caraway leaf tubs: before + after
This is why I love Caraway leaf pans. This would have taken hours to absorb our ancient minerals. You can see that the metal knobs are permanently stained – they need a fix! But ceramic coated pans are great for cleaning!
hello fresh
we used to do hello fresh Since you took advantage of a promotion. I think we will try green chef next one! They have a really good deal going.
Turkey Bolognese with hidden zucchini
Chili vegetables
Dreaming of sugar
This time of year I want to climb into my bed at 8pm! I am currently reading 2 nights in Lisbon, which is really good! It reminds me of The Da Vinci Code. Very interesting!
I also have a file Winter Street series By Elin Hilderbrand On Queuing! Located in Nantucket over the holidays, it’s the perfect seasonal read!
Hope you have a nice holiday with your loved ones <3
xx,
Cath
