Protein bars have become synonymous with on-the-go movement, Muscle Building Snack. Whether it’s to fuel you before or after your workout or to get you through it Afternoon slackEntire aisles in the grocery store are now filled with endless options. When sorting through them all to find the healthiest protein bars, there are a few ingredients to look for to help boost your protein count in a balanced, healthy way that doesn’t taste like you’re biting into a dog treat.

Start with the ingredient list, where less is usually more, and whole food ingredients trump anything that seems overly complex. The optimal protein bar will also depend on your specific goals. Are you using them to fuel you on the go, to bridge the gap between meals, or to support weight loss or muscle growth? The best option will vary accordingly, but here are some good general criteria to aim for:

  • Energy: At least 100 calories per serving from real food ingredients
  • Protein: at least 10 grams
  • Fiber: at least 3g

Now that we have your basic fuel specs out of the way, unwrap our healthy protein bars to fuel your workout, adventure, or afternoon pick-me-up.

Kize bars are clean and simple. Made with wholesome, premium ingredients for nutritional quality and sustained energy, they provide a blend of energy and protein, and are the perfect anytime, anywhere snack. These bars probably offer the cleanest ingredient label you’ll find, and because they’re based on nut butters, they have a perfectly smooth and chewy texture.

Each Rise Bar serving contains fewer than five ingredients. The foundation of each protein bar is nut butter, natural sweeteners, and protein powder to give you a reliable boost just in time. They’re delicious and have a great texture no matter which flavor you choose. These are suitable as a light breakfast as they are a bit more powerful when it comes to macros.
