“What I find most prevalent in the reposado are the delicious, earthy notes that its siblings can’t match,” Savage says. “Blanco cherishes its bright, fresh, and salty notes, while Anejo offers round notes of vanilla and caramel.”
Always diplomatic, reposado has other elements of tequila in balance – allowing for an earthy, semi-umami character to develop.
