This is a post about fall and our latest seasonal activities!
All about autumn
The boys and I went to Whole Foods to stock up on pumpkin. We hope to go to the pumpkin patch this weekend for more! But this was a good start. I was also thrilled to find the burnt orange mums. I’m not crazy about yellow moms. Yellow makes me nervous. It’s worrying!
We all love swan!
Pumpkin vomit!
We also got a couple of carved pumpkins and got some good practice for Halloween because we needed carved pumpkins for us. KiwiCo . craft! Let me tell you after 39 years of using the wrong tools to carve pumpkins, we finally have everything we need to make it easy! This guy didn’t take me any time to sculpt. Get Punching kit like this.

As I mentioned in a previous post, KiwiCo sent us files vomit pumpkin kit. Needless to say, it was a massive hit!! (And it’s only $12.95 to order.)
We did at least 5 rounds of paint/vomit rings

It was easy for both of them to participate in the mixing and pouring.

Very pleasant!

Eggcelent . breakfasts
We had to share this Croque Madame we got from Maribit for weekend brunch. On homemade sourdough with ham and gruyere and a few pastries on the side. Perfect fuel before the football game later in the day.

And on the lighter side, a juiced hard-boiled egg (my trick is a quick 8-minute boil steep) with grapes and half a raisin cinnamon bun.
Also, she shared this LOL moment on Instagram when I finished eating a Birch prune as part of my breakfast. Oh, how time breaks.

Falling Winter Solstice With Ferns
Another fun activity was the solstice party at our friends house. They live on top of Wintergreen Mountain, so it was worth getting there with beautiful views!
Fern….
And the fern!
If you remember, Birch and Verne had the same due date! We miss seeing Fern every day at school since she transferred to another school last year. Fortunately, these two are still good friends when they get together.
4 years of mom friends <3
This view! In the backyard of our friends.
I used my Erica Thanksgiving Board Charcuterie as a template for this beautiful arrangement.

Try Green Chef
I saw Brittany Eating bird food was using green chef He asked her how she liked it. She sent me a promotional code and immediately ordered a chest to try.
appendages: I like that they focus a little more on health and they are USDA Certified Organic. I really liked that so many of the ingredients were one step ahead of the prep (the cabbage had already been bought; the sauce had already been made) so the cooking time was super fast!
Negatives: The 4 person plan came in 2 separate boxes which were just more dump. It is a little more expensive.
we lovable Recipes!!
Chicken and potato soup
Fried Sesame Shrimp

And the really amazing pork tenderloin with roasted potatoes and a sun-dried tomato salad. In fact, Mazen said at the dinner table, “That’s really good ham.” (He rarely praises the chef.)
If you want to try it, my link You should get 50% off your first box and 22% off after that for a total of $135.
Date Night with Gary Clark Jr.
Thomas and I went to see Gary Clark Jr. in the Ting Suite. It was amazing!
Prior to that, we had dinner at Petit Pois and enjoyed lobster, shrimp bisque, turnip salad, mussels and small plates of smoked salmon.
